At the Gandon Inn, we specialize in Boutique weddings and intimate events of up to 150 where the emphasis is on personal attention, attention to detail, and ensuring you of a wonderful day.


Our historic building has stood here since 1753 and we are proud to offer you and your guests the best in home prepared food- In a time of convenience we stand apart by only serving food which has been entirely produced in House- Our Potato and Vegetables which are hand prepared and our beef which is aged to perfection, all of our effort you will notice in the quality of food we produce.

Wedding Tips

 

 

When choosing bands try to see them perform at a wedding as to see how they can get a wedding crowd going – think of the age of your guests also. Don’t pay extra for a band to play 3 hours as the chance are they will only play two before DJ goes on


Ask for a sample tasting menu to ensure you are entirely happy with quality


When booking afters food do not overestimate numbers as you may have to pay for numbers confirmed- if you are short most hotels will make up more food for you. Hotels don not like wasting food even when paid for! This could save hundreds.


If you have a maximum budget in mind and don’t want to go over it- don’t! Tell hotels what your budget is and let them design a menu.
